Laura Huse has always had a passion for fashion and a keen eye for design. With a deep desire to follow her dream of working in fashion, she quickly immersed herself in the retail industry beginning her career working with the luxury crowd at Neiman Marcus, San Francisco. Working one-on-one with clients as an Assistant to the Chanel Personal Shopper and later as a Sales Specialist for Donna Karan, she styled clients for galas, opera & ballet openings, Bar Mitzvah, charity events and planned seasonal wardrobes. Laura quickly realized how important it is to have the right clothing to wear, individual style, know colors and silhouettes that flatter your figure and where to shop. Taking a leap of faith she followed her heart to the fashion capitol NYC. For the past 5 years, she honed in her merchandising and buying skills at Vivre and Saks Fifth Avenue. Laura furthered her knowledge of the fashion industry and retail by developing a critical eye for trends, shopping habits, editing product assortment and design.

Throughout Laura’s career she has continually provided fashion advice for clients, friends and family. With 10 years experience in the retail and fashion industry, Laura launched Style Me Laura in 2009. Laura hones in on her distinct fashion sense and skills by working one-on-one with clients helping them develop an ideal personal style, wardrobe cleanse (shopping your closet; mixing the old with the new) and assisted personal shopping endeavors.

Living and breathing fashion everyday, Laura Huse is a devoted lifelong shopaholic. You’ll find her roaming vintage stores, flea markets, boutiques, specialty stores and most recently e-commerce shops. In Laura’s mind, there is no better way to pass time than to shop the day away.

Laura holds a BA in Communications from the University of San Francisco. She currently resides in New York City.
